سُوْرَةُ الشُّوْرٰي
Surah Ash-Shura (42) — Ayah 42
إِنَّمَا ٱلسَّبِيلُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَظْلِمُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ وَيَبْغُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿42﴾

The way (of blame) is only against those who oppress men and rebel in the earth without justification; for such there will be a painful torment.

(Ayah 42){ اِنَّمَا السَّبِيْلُ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ يَظْلِمُوْنَ النَّاسَ … :} That is, the blame and reproach is upon those who initiate oppression, who encroach upon people's lives, wealth, honor, and dignity, and if they take revenge, they exceed the limits in doing so. In this way, they spread corruption on the earth through rebellion and arrogance, for which they have no right. For such people, there is a severe and painful punishment.
