سُوْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ
Surah Ghafir (40) — Ayah 8
رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّـٰتِ عَدْنٍ ٱلَّتِى وَعَدتَّهُمْ وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ ءَابَآئِهِمْ وَأَزْوَٰجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ﴿8﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
"Our Lord! And make them enter the ‘Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens) which you have promised them - and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their offspring! Verily, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

(Ayah 8) ➊ {رَبَّنَا وَ اَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنّٰتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِيْ وَعَدْتَّهُمْ :} That is, forgiveness of sins and salvation from Hell are not enough; rather, admit them to the everlasting Gardens of Paradise, which You have promised them. See also Surah Al-Imran (194).
➋ {وَ مَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ اٰبَآىِٕهِمْ وَ اَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَ ذُرِّيّٰتِهِمْ :} For details of the promise mentioned in this verse, see Surah Ar-Ra'd (23) and Surah At-Tur (21).
➌ {اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ :} Surely, You alone are the Most Mighty; You can forgive whomever You will, and no one can restrain Your hand. And You are the Most Wise; it is according to Your wisdom that You have promised to forgive the believers and to admit, with them, their parents and spouses and offspring who follow them into Paradise.
