Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 6){ وَ كَذٰلِكَ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ …:} There can be two interpretations of this: one is that just as the word of your Lord regarding the coming of punishment upon the previous nations has been fulfilled and they were destroyed, in the same way, now the word of your Lord has been fulfilled regarding those who are disbelieving, that they are the ones who will enter the Fire.
The second interpretation is that the punishment that came upon those nations in this world is not the end, rather, just as the worldly punishment was decreed for them, so too has your Lord’s word been established that in the Hereafter as well, they will be among the dwellers of the Fire.
