Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 59) ➊ { اِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَاٰتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيْهَا:} The statement that was explained with proofs in the previous two verses is now expressed in very clear words with {’’ اِنَّ ‘‘} and the emphasis of "Lam." The combination of these two words, among the Arabs, carries the force of emphasis equal to an oath. In the previous verses, the proofs of the reality of the Resurrection were mentioned; now, the Creator and Owner of the universe has sworn that the Resurrection will surely come. Allah’s swearing to this matter is itself a proof, and the greatest proof.

{وَ لٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ:} But most people are not willing to accept such a clear and truthful statement, because after accepting it, they would have to abandon their rebellious desires and pleasures, for which they are not ready. See also Surah Qiyamah (5).
