Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 33) ➊ { يَوْمَ تُوَلُّوْنَ مُدْبِرِيْنَ:} In this, the condition of {’’ يَوْمَ التَّنَادِ ‘‘} is described, that this is the day in which you will turn your backs and flee from the punishment of Allah.
{ مَا لَكُمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ:} But there will be no one to save you from Allah, that is, from His punishment, as He said: «يَقُوْلُ الْاِنْسَانُ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ اَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ (10) كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ (11) اِلٰى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ الْمُسْتَقَرُّ » [ القیامۃ : ۱۰ تا ۱۲ ] "Man will say that day, 'Where is the place to escape?' Never! There is no place of refuge. That day, the final return is only to your Lord."
{ وَ مَنْ يُّضْلِلِ اللّٰهُ فَمَا لَهٗ مِنْ هَادٍ:} That is, I have given you the advice, but due to your stubbornness and hostility, if Allah has intended to leave you in misguidance, then whomever Allah leads astray, there is no one to guide him. See Surah Al-Baqarah (2:26, 27).
