Those who disbelieve will be addressed (at the time of entering the Fire): "Allâh’s aversion was greater towards you (in the worldly life when you used to reject the Faith) than your aversion towards one another (now in the Fire of Hell, as you are now enemies to one another), when you were called to the Faith but you used to refuse."

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 10) { اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا يُنَادَوْنَ …: ’’مَقْتٌ‘‘} refers to intense anger and displeasure. {’’ يُنَادَوْنَ ‘‘} "It will be called out to them" — who will call out to them? Allah Almighty has not mentioned this. Obviously, the one saying this could be Allah Himself or the angels appointed over Hell. In the previous verses, the treatment of the believers by the angels was mentioned, that they constantly glorify and praise Allah and seek forgiveness and make those supplications for the believers which have been mentioned above. Now, after the believers, the treatment of the disbelievers by Allah and His angels is mentioned: when they see their deeds, they will be extremely angry with themselves, at that time the angels will call out to them: « لَمَقْتُ اللّٰهِ اَكْبَرُ » that now, as you are burning in Hell and feeling such intense anger at yourselves, know for sure! When you were invited to faith in the world and you disbelieved, Allah was even more intensely angry with you than this.
