They say: "We are obedient," but when they leave you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), a section of them spend all night in planning other than what you say. But Allâh records their nightly (plots). So turn aside from them (do not punish them), and put your trust in Allâh. And Allâh is Ever All-Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs.
وَيَقُولُونَ wayaqūlūna And they say

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 81) {وَ يَقُوْلُوْنَ طَاعَةٌ …:} Here, another reprehensible trait of the hypocrites has been mentioned and they have been rebuked, and you (peace be upon him) have been instructed to overlook their evil actions and to put your trust in Allah Almighty. The word {”بَيَّتَ“} is originally derived from { ’’ بَيْتٌ ‘‘ } (house), and since a person generally stays at home at night, { ”بَاتَ“ } means to spend the night, and then, since a person reflects on his affairs during the free time at night, the word { ”بَيَّتَ“ } began to be used in the sense of deep contemplation on a matter. (Razi) That is, during the day they assure you of their obedience, but at night some of their groups consult contrary to what they said to you during the day. By this "taifah" is meant the leaders, because the common people are merely followers of them.
