Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 61) ➊ { وَ يُنَجِّي اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّقَوْا … :} After mentioning the fate of the arrogant, the fate of the God-fearing is mentioned. From this, it is understood that piety is contrary to arrogance, because piety is to refrain from disobeying Allah and to humble oneself before Him, as He said: «تِلْكَ الدَّارُ الْاٰخِرَةُ نَجْعَلُهَا لِلَّذِيْنَ لَا يُرِيْدُوْنَ عُلُوًّا فِي الْاَرْضِ وَ لَا فَسَادًا وَ الْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ » [ القصص : ۸۳ ] "This final abode, We assign it to those who do not desire exaltation upon the earth nor corruption, and the good end is for the God-fearing."
{ بِمَفَازَتِهِمْ : ’’مَفَازَةٌ‘‘ ’’فَازَ يَفُوْزُ فَوْزًا‘‘} is either a verbal noun meaning "success" or a locative noun meaning "place of success," that is, Allah will grant salvation to the God-fearing from Hell due to their success in the testing ground of this world, or Allah will grant salvation to the God-fearing by admitting them to their place of success (Paradise), as He said: « فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَ اُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ» [ آل عمران : ۱۸۵ ] "So whoever is kept away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful."
{لَا يَمَسُّهُمُ السُّوْٓءُ وَ لَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ :} That is, no harm or evil will ever reach them. Thus, no fear will come upon them, nor will they grieve over the hardships or troubles they experienced in the world, because a single visit to Paradise will make them forget all the sorrows and griefs of the world.
