سُوْرَةُ الصَّافَّاتِ
Surah As-Saaffaat (37) — Ayah 73
فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ ﴿73﴾

Then see what was the end of those who were warned (but heeded not).

(Ayah 73) {فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ … :} So, O Messenger or O addressee! See, what was the outcome of these people who were seized because of their deeds; some explanation of this seizing is in Surah Al-Ankabut, where He said: « فَكُلًّا اَخَذْنَا بِذَنْۢبِهٖ فَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ حَاصِبًا وَ مِنْهُمْ مَّنْ اَخَذَتْهُ الصَّيْحَةُ وَ مِنْهُمْ مَّنْ خَسَفْنَا بِهِ الْاَرْضَ وَ مِنْهُمْ مَّنْ اَغْرَقْنَا وَ مَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَ لٰكِنْ كَانُوْۤا اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُوْنَ» [ العنکبوت : ۴۰ ] "So We seized each one for his sin; then among them were those upon whom We sent a storm of stones, and among them were those whom the blast seized, and among them were those whom We caused the earth to swallow, and among them were those whom We drowned. And Allah was not to wrong them, but they themselves used to wrong themselves."
