Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

:} That is, this punishment will surely come upon them in any case. Then, when it descended into their courtyards, those who were being warned of the punishment and were denying it—their morning will be evil. The word "morning" is mentioned specifically because the Arabs generally attacked in the morning, and this was also the practice of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Thus, Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: : ۲۹۴۵ ] "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out towards Khaybar and reached there at night, and when he reached a people at night, he would not attack until morning. When morning came, the Jews came out with their spades and baskets. When they saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), they said: 'Muhammad, by Allah! Muhammad has come with his army.' So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Allahu Akbar! Khaybar is destroyed. When we descend into the courtyard of a people, the morning of those who have already been warned is evil.'" Punishment from Allah also generally came in the morning, as mentioned regarding the people of Lot: « اِنَّ مَوْعِدَهُمُ الصُّبْحُ اَلَيْسَ الصُّبْحُ بِقَرِيْبٍ » [ ھود : ۸۱ ] "Indeed, the appointed time for them is the morning. Is the morning not near?"
