Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 176) {اَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَ:} Whenever the disbelievers are threatened with punishment in the Noble Qur’an, they immediately demand its coming in order to deny it, as is mentioned in Surah Yunus: « مَتٰى هٰذَا الْوَعْدُ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ» [ یونس : ۴۸ ] “When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?” Rather, they even began to pray to Allah that if Islam is truly from Him, then He should rain stones upon them or bring upon them a painful punishment. (See Surah Al-Anfal: 33) Therefore, it is said: Have these people reached such a level of rebellion and ignorance, and become so fearless, that they are demanding the hastening of Our punishment?
