Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 164) {وَ مَا مِنَّاۤ اِلَّا لَهٗ مَقَامٌ مَّعْلُوْمٌ :} From here, Allah Almighty has mentioned through the words of the angels their own admission that they are not the children of Allah, but rather His perfectly obedient servants who are constantly engaged in His worship and glorification. That is, in contrast to your polytheistic belief, the statement of the angels themselves is that each one of us angels has a designated rank and position, beyond which we cannot go. Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: : ۲۳۱۲، و صححہ الألباني، أنظر تراجعات الألباني، ح : ۳۳ ] "I see what you do not see and I hear what you do not hear. The sky creaks, and it has the right to creak. There is not a space of four fingers in it except that there is an angel placing his forehead in prostration to Allah. By Allah! If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much."
