Surah As-Saaffaat (37) — Ayah 106

إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْبَلَـٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلْمُبِينُ ﴿106﴾
Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial.
إِنَّ inna Indeed
هَـٰذَا hādhā this
لَهُوَ lahuwa (was) surely [it]
ٱلْبَلَـٰٓؤُا۟ l-balāu the trial
ٱلْمُبِينُ l-mubīnu clear

(Ayah 106){ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلٰٓؤُا الْمُبِيْنُ :} That is, an old father is commanded to sacrifice his only son, who has reached the age to assist him in work; surely this is an open trial and a very severe test for both the father and the son.
