Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 76) ➊ { فَلَايَحْزُنْكَقَوْلُهُمْ :} In this, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) is given comfort that when these polytheists are so ignorant and stubborn regarding Us, then you should not be saddened by their words. ➋ { اِنَّانَعْلَمُمَايُسِرُّوْنَوَمَايُعْلِنُوْنَ:} ({إِنَّ} is used for reasoning) because you would only be saddened if there was no one to hold them to account; We know even those things they conceal and those they reveal. We know that among themselves they acknowledge your truthfulness, and in front of people they call you a poet, a sorcerer, or a soothsayer, etc. Similarly, We are aware of their secret conspiracies and their open enmity as well; do not worry, We will settle all accounts.
