سُوْرَةُ يٰسٓ
Surah Yaseen (36) — Ayah 63
هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ ﴿63﴾

This is Hell which you were promised!

(Ayah 64,63) {هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِيْ كُنْتُمْ تُوْعَدُوْنَ …: ’’ اِصْلَوْهَا ‘‘ ’’صَلِيَ يَصْلٰي } (ع) The original meaning of {النَّارَ‘‘} is to warm oneself by the fire. This will be said to them as sarcasm and mockery. (Al-Tahrir) And with this command, they will be pushed and thrown into Hell. In Surah Al-Tur it is said: «يَوْمَ يُدَعُّوْنَ اِلٰى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا (13) هٰذِهِ النَّارُ الَّتِيْ كُنْتُمْ بِهَا تُكَذِّبُوْنَ » [ الطور : ۱۳، ۱۴ ] "The Day they will be thrust with a violent thrust into the Fire of Hell. This is the Fire which you used to deny."
