إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَـٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ ﴿44﴾
Unless it be a mercy from Us, and as an enjoyment for a while.
إِلَّا illā Except

مِّنَّا minnā from Us
وَمَتَـٰعًا wamatāʿan and provision
إِلَىٰ ilā for
حِينٍۢ ḥīnin a time

(Ayah 44) {اِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَ مَتَاعًا اِلٰى حِيْنٍ :} This is only the result of Our mercy and the respite granted for a fixed term of life that We keep the rebellious and immense forces of the sea and winds under Our control, by which travelers and traders safely reach the other shore.
