سُوْرَةُ يٰسٓ
Surah Yaseen (36) — Ayah 19
قَالُوا۟ طَـٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ ۚ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ ﴿19﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
They (Messengers) said: "Your evil omens be with you! (Do you call it "evil omen") because you are admonished? Nay, but you are a people Musrifûn (transgressing all bounds by committing all kinds of great sins, and by disobeying Allâh).

(Ayah 19) ➊ {قَالُوْا طَآىِٕرُكُمْ مَّعَكُمْ :} The messengers said, the cause of the misfortune that has come upon you is not us, but your own actions, for you have adopted shirk with Allah and open disobedience and rebellion against Him. If you are afflicted by famine, or plague, or any other calamity, you yourselves are its cause, not us, because we only invite to the oneness of Allah and obedience to Him.
➋ { اَىِٕنْ ذُكِّرْتُمْ :} The answer to this condition is omitted, meaning, if you are given advice and well-wishing, do you, instead of being grateful, declare us to be unlucky and threaten us?
➌ {بَلْ اَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُوْنَ :} Rather, the truth is that you are people who exceed all bounds. You do not accept any restriction that comes from Allah or is imposed by reason and wisdom, if it goes against your desires.
➋ { اَىِٕنْ ذُكِّرْتُمْ :} The answer to this condition is omitted, meaning, if you are given advice and well-wishing, do you, instead of being grateful, declare us to be unlucky and threaten us?
