Surah Yaseen (36) — Ayah 17

وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ ﴿17﴾
"And our duty is only to convey plainly (the Message)."
وَمَا wamā And not
عَلَيْنَآ ʿalaynā (is) on us
إِلَّا illā except
ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ l-balāghu the conveyance
ٱلْمُبِينُ l-mubīnu clear

(Ayah 17) {وَ مَا عَلَيْنَاۤ اِلَّا الْبَلٰغُ الْمُبِيْنُ :} That is, our duty is only to clearly convey to you the message of Allah. As for making you believers, or showing miracles according to your demands, or bringing punishment upon you, this is not our task.
