Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 31) ➊ {وَ الَّذِيْۤ اَوْحَيْنَاۤ اِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتٰبِ هُوَ الْحَقُّ … :} Its conjunction is with {’’ اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَتْلُوْنَ كِتٰبَ اللّٰهِ ‘‘}. After mentioning the virtue of the scholars who recite the Book of Allah, it is said: "And this Book which We have revealed to you, it alone is the complete truth." As for all the other books that contain the essence of Allah’s being, attributes, and His commands, among those authored by people, even if they contain some part of the truth, most of it is falsehood. And those that were previously revealed by Allah, such as the Torah and the Gospel, due to later alterations and additions, some false things have also been included in them. Whatever statements in them are true, this Book confirms them, and whatever is false, it refutes them. Therefore, this Book is the protector of their original and authentic contents. Now, since complete truth is found only in this Book, you and your community should act only upon it.

{ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِعِبَادِهٖ لَخَبِيْرٌۢ بَصِيْرٌ:} That is, Allah is fully aware of the needs of His servants and is fully observant of their deeds. He has revealed this Book to you, keeping in view all their needs and the needs of their time.
