Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 30) ➊ In { لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ اُجُوْرَهُمْ وَ يَزِيْدَهُمْ مِّنْ فَضْلِهٖ:’’ لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ ‘‘}, the "lam" is for consequence, meaning the result of the people of knowledge reciting the Book, establishing prayer, and spending is that Allah will give them their full rewards and will give them even more from His bounty. This "lam" can also be for reason and explanation, meaning the people of knowledge recite the Quran, establish prayer, and spend from what Allah has given them so that He may give them their full rewards and grant them even more from His bounty, as Allah has said: «فَاَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فَيُوَفِّيْهِمْ اُجُوْرَهُمْ وَ يَزِيْدُهُمْ مِّنْ فَضْلِهٖ » [ النساء : ۱۷۳ ] "Then those who believed and did righteous deeds, so He will give them their full rewards and will give them even more from His bounty." In giving more from His bounty, it is to increase one good deed up to seven hundred times or even more, then to grant eternal Paradise for the deeds of a few days of life, and then, above all the blessings of Paradise, to grant the greatest blessing of His vision, as He said: « لِلَّذِيْنَ اَحْسَنُوا الْحُسْنٰى وَ زِيَادَةٌ » [ یونس : ۲۶ ] "For those who have done good is the best reward and even more." May Allah include us among those fortunate ones. (Ameen)
{ اِنَّهٗ غَفُوْرٌ شَكُوْرٌ :} That is, the reason is that He is extremely covering of the sins of the believers and greatly appreciative of their good deeds.
