Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 51) ➊ {وَ لَوْ تَرٰۤى اِذْ فَزِعُوْا فَلَا فَوْتَ : ’’ اِذْ فَزِعُوْا ‘‘} (“when they will be terrified”) refers to all the stages of the Hereafter after this world, which include the arrival of angels at the time of death, then questioning and answering in the grave, then coming out of the graves and being presented before Allah Almighty, then entering Hell—all of this is included. That is, now the disbelievers boast a lot, but when the respite of this world ends, Allah Almighty’s grip will come, and terror will overcome them, at that time there will be no way for them to escape from it.
{ وَ اُخِذُوْا مِنْ مَّكَانٍ قَرِيْبٍ :} That is, such criminals will not have to be searched for from afar; wherever they are, they will be seized right there. There will be no way to escape or to run away.
