Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 44) ➊ {تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهٗ سَلٰمٌ :} That is, the day they will meet Allah, Allah will say Salaam to them, as He said: « سَلٰمٌ قَوْلًا مِّنْ رَّبٍّ رَّحِيْمٍ » [ یٰسٓ : ۵۸ ] "Peace will be said, a word from a Merciful Lord." The angels will say Salaam to them, as He said: « وَ الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُ يَدْخُلُوْنَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِّنْ كُلِّ بَابٍ (23) سَلٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ » [ الرعد : ۲۳، ۲۴ ] "And the angels will enter upon them from every gate, [saying], 'Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home.'" And their supplication for each other will also be Salaam, as He said: « دَعْوٰىهُمْ فِيْهَا سُبْحٰنَكَ اللّٰهُمَّ وَ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيْهَا سَلٰمٌ وَ اٰخِرُ دَعْوٰىهُمْ اَنِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ » [ یونس : ۱۰ ] "Their call therein will be, 'Exalted are You, O Allah!' and their greeting therein will be Salaam. And the last of their call will be, 'Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds.'" Rather, the voice heard from every direction in Paradise will also be this blessed word, as He said: « لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَ فِيْهَا لَغْوًا وَّ لَا تَاْثِيْمًا (25) اِلَّا قِيْلًا سَلٰمًا سَلٰمًا » [ الواقعۃ : ۲۵، ۲۶ ] "They will not hear therein ill speech or sinful speech, only the saying, 'Peace, peace.'"

{ وَ اَعَدَّ لَهُمْ اَجْرًا كَرِيْمًا :} That is, the blessings of Paradise have been prepared which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever imagined. See also Surah As-Sajdah (17).
