سُوْرَةُ الْاَحْزَابِ
Surah Al-Ahzaab (33) — Ayah 25
وَرَدَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِغَيْظِهِمْ لَمْ يَنَالُوا۟ خَيْرًا ۚ وَكَفَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٱلْقِتَالَ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيزًا ﴿25﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
And Allâh drove back those who disbelieved in their rage: they gained no advantage (booty). Allâh sufficed for the believers in the fighting (by sending against the disbelievers a severe wind and troops of angels). And Allâh is Ever All-Strong, All-Mighty.

(Ayah 25) ➊ { وَ رَدَّ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِغَيْظِهِمْ لَمْ يَنَالُوْا خَيْرًا :} In these verses, the outcome of the Battle of Ahzab is described: the disbelievers, who had come with the intention of erasing the name and sign of Islam and the Muslims, did not achieve any success in their aim. They could neither wipe out the Muslims, nor conquer Madinah, nor obtain any spoils of war or captives. Allah Almighty sent them back filled with burning in their hearts and anger, without having gained any benefit.
➋ { وَ كَفَى اللّٰهُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ الْقِتَالَ:} That is, the Muslims did not even need to fight. Allah Almighty took the battle upon Himself and, with the armies of wind and angels, drove away the armies of the disbelievers. For details, see the commentary of verse (9) of this Surah.
➌ {وَ كَانَ اللّٰهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيْزًا :} Since the fleeing of the disbelievers despite such numbers and preparation was beyond reason and an extremely astonishing event, it is stated that Allah Almighty has always been exceedingly powerful and dominant over all; for Him, this is not difficult at all.
