Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 2) ➊ { وَ اتَّبِعْ مَا يُوْحٰۤى اِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَّبِّكَ:} That is, regarding adopted sons, any custom of the age of ignorance, or any matter of this world or the Hereafter, instead of following the word of any disbeliever or hypocrite, you should follow the command that is revealed to you from your Lord.
{ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرًا :} Whatever you do regarding following Allah’s revelation, that is, the Quran and Sunnah, He is fully aware of it. Whether you act upon His commands with happiness, reluctance, or do not act, He will reward you according to your deeds.
➌ Here the address is in the plural, from which it is understood that all previous addresses are actually for the entire Ummah.
