سُوْرَةُ السَّجْدَةِ
Surah As-Sajda (32) — Ayah 30
فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَٱنتَظِرْ إِنَّهُم مُّنتَظِرُونَ ﴿30﴾

So turn aside from them (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and await: verily, they (too) are awaiting.

(Ayah 30) ➊ { فَاَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَ انْتَظِرْ :} Those who deny the Resurrection merely because they have not been told its exact time, it is useless to try to convince them; leave them to their own state and wait to see when Allah’s promise is fulfilled, which is bound to be fulfilled in any case.
➋ {اِنَّهُمْ مُّنْتَظِرُوْنَ :} Surely, they too are waiting to see when you and your small group will fall victim to some turn of fate. See Surah At-Tawbah (98) and in Surah At-Tur it is said: «{ اَمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ شَاعِرٌ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهٖ رَيْبَ الْمَنُوْنِ (30) قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوْا فَاِنِّيْ مَعَكُمْ مِّنَ الْمُتَرَبِّصِيْنَ }» [ الطور : ۳۰، ۳۱ ] “Or do they say: ‘He is a poet for whom we await the accidents of time?’ Say: ‘Wait, for indeed I am with you among those who wait.’”
➋ {اِنَّهُمْ مُّنْتَظِرُوْنَ :} Surely, they too are waiting to see when you and your small group will fall victim to some turn of fate.
