Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 23) ➊ { وَ مَنْ كَفَرَ فَلَا يَحْزُنْكَ كُفْرُهٗ … :} In this, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and every caller to Islam after him have been given comfort that whoever insists on disbelief despite our invitation and message reaching him, do not be saddened by his disbelief. Your duty was to convey the message, which you have done. Now they have to return to Us, so We will inform them of all that they did. In this, there is a severe warning for the disbelievers.
{ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلِيْمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ:} Some of the disbelief of the disbelievers was open, and some was hidden in their hearts. It is said that Allah Almighty has complete knowledge of what is in the hearts; He will also recompense them for that. Similarly, if someone outwardly professes Islam but harbors disbelief in his heart, Allah Almighty is fully aware of that as well; He Himself will deal with him.
