And indeed We have set forth for mankind, in this Qur’ân every kind of parable. But if you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) bring to them any sign or proof (as an evidence for the truth of your Prophethood), the disbelievers are sure to say (to the believers): "You follow nothing but falsehood, and magic."

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 58) ➊ { وَ لَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِيْ هٰذَا الْقُرْاٰنِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ :} At the end of the surah, it is stated that We have presented every kind of example as evidence for Our existence, Our oneness, Our power, the creation of the universe, and its recreation, and the Messenger has fulfilled his duty. After this, if anyone demands any further miracle, he does so out of stubbornness and hostility, because when a person rejects a clear proof, it is not difficult for him to reject other proofs as well.
{وَ لَىِٕنْ جِئْتَهُمْ بِاٰيَةٍ لَّيَقُوْلَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْۤا … :} Therefore, it is stated that even if you bring them any miracle, they will say, "You are nothing but liars." For verses with similar meaning, see Surah Al-An'am (111) and Yunus (96, 97).
