Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 32) ➊ {مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ فَرَّقُوْا دِيْنَهُمْ وَ كَانُوْا شِيَعًا :} That is, do not be among those who abandoned the original and natural religion (Tawheed) and divided their religion into pieces, forming many groups. Some began to worship others besides Allah, and some worshipped yet others. Their division into different groups itself is proof of their falsehood, because the truth is one and the falsehoods are countless. For the explanation of {’’ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ فَرَّقُوْا ‘‘}, see Surah Al-An'am (159). It is understood that all the religions of disbelief and polytheism found in the world have arisen from the corruption of the original natural religion (Tawheed). See Surah Al-Baqarah (213) and Surah Yunus (19).
{ كُلُّ حِزْبٍۭ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُوْنَ :} That is, every sect and group thinks that it is upon the truth and others are upon falsehood, and the supports they have sought are considered by them as proofs, and they are pleased with them.
