سُوْرَةُ اٰلِ عِمْرٰنَ

Surah Aal-i-Imraan (3) — Ayah 122

إِذْ هَمَّت طَّآئِفَتَانِ مِنكُمْ أَن تَفْشَلَا وَٱللَّهُ وَلِيُّهُمَا ۗ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿122﴾
When two parties from among you were about to lose heart, but Allâh was their Walî (Supporter and Protector). And in Allâh should the believers put their trust.
إِذْ idh When
هَمَّت hammat inclined
طَّآئِفَتَانِ ṭāifatāni two parties
مِنكُمْ minkum among you
أَن an that
تَفْشَلَا tafshalā they lost heart
وَٱللَّهُ wal-lahu but Allah
وَلِيُّهُمَا ۗ waliyyuhumā (was) their protector
وَعَلَى waʿalā And on
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi Allah
فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ falyatawakkali let put (their) trust
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ l-mu'minūna the believers
