Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 111) In {اِلَّاۤ اَذًى:} {”اَذًى“}, the tanween is for reduction and belittlement, therefore the translation is "a slight harm." What is meant are verbal slanders and conspiracies, but they will not be able to stand against you in the field; and so it happened. The Jews were defeated everywhere against the Muslims and had to face humiliation, and finally, the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) and his companions exiled them from the Arabian Peninsula. This verse contains information of the unseen and a prophecy, and Allah Almighty has given glad tidings of victory, success, and help in it. Now, although the Jews, with the support of the Christians, have occupied some parts of Palestine and Jerusalem, the time is near when, in the war between the Muslims and the Jews, even stones and trees will call out to the Muslim, saying: "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, kill him." [ مسلم، الفتن، باب لا تقوم الساعۃ حتی… : ۲۹۲۱، ۲۹۲۲ ]
