Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allâh or denies the truth (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and his doctrine of Islâmic Monotheism and this Qur’ân), when it comes to him? Is there not a dwelling in Hell for disbelievers (in the Oneness of Allâh and in His Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)?

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 68) ➊ {وَمَنْاَظْلَمُمِمَّنِافْتَرٰىعَلَىاللّٰهِكَذِبًا … :} The meaning of "zulm" is darkness, that is, to give someone else's right to another, because in darkness a person cannot put something in its proper place. The greatest right upon a person is that of Allah Almighty, because He created him. Therefore, the greatest justice is the oneness of Allah and worshipping Him alone, and the greatest injustice and unfairness is to associate anyone with Him and to worship that associate, which was the exclusive right of Allah Almighty. That is why it is said, who can be more unjust than the one who fabricates lies against Allah and associates partners with Him? Similarly, as long as the truth does not reach a person, there may be room for excuse, but after the coming of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and the truth having reached, who can be more unjust than the one who denies the truth? The purpose is that there is no one more unjust than these two. ➋ In { اَلَيْسَفِيْجَهَنَّمَمَثْوًىلِّلْكٰفِرِيْنَ: ’’ لِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ ‘‘}, the "al" is for 'ahd (specificity), therefore the translation is "for those disbelievers," meaning, is there not a place in Hell for those disbelievers who fabricate lies against Allah and deny the truth after it has come to them? That is, surely their abode is Hell.
