Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 74) {وَ يَوْمَ يُنَادِيْهِمْ فَيَقُوْلُ …:} After mentioning further proofs of Tawheed, the same subject is repeated as above: Allah Almighty will call out to the polytheists and say, "Where are My partners whom you used to claim?" The purpose of repeating this again and again is to scold them, humiliate and disgrace them, and to express their and their partners' helplessness and the falsehood of shirk. Then sometimes they will deny that they ever worshipped any partners (see An'am: 22–24), sometimes they will call upon their false deities and receive no answer, and sometimes, out of despair, they will remain silent.
