Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 65) {وَ يَوْمَ يُنَادِيْهِمْ فَيَقُوْلُ مَا ذَاۤ اَجَبْتُمُ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ :} This is the second question which is about prophethood: when My messengers conveyed My message to you and guided you to follow it, what answer did you give them? The first question was about tawheed; these are the two questions that will be asked in the grave, that is, "{مَنْ رَبُّكَ}?" "Who is your Lord?" and "{مَنْ نَبِيُّكَ}?" "Who is your Prophet?" And the third question is, "{مَا دِيْنُكَ}?" "What is your religion?" The believer's answer will be: {’’ رَبِّيَ اللّٰهُ وَ نَبِيِّيْ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّي اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَ دِيْنِيَ الْإِسْلَامُ‘‘} "My Lord is Allah, my Prophet is Muhammad (peace be upon him), and my religion is Islam."
