Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 6) {وَنُمَكِّنَلَهُمْفِيالْاَرْضِ …:} Haman was the minister of Pharaoh, who was his partner and instrument in oppression and tyranny. That is, We intended to grant them authority in the land and establish their rule, and the danger for which Pharaoh, Haman, and their armies had started killing the sons of the Children of Israel—lest their numbers and strength increase so much that they seize our government—We would make that very danger a reality for them through the Children of Israel themselves, and they would see with their own eyes that Allah’s decree can never be averted, nor can any power prevent His will from being fulfilled, as He said: «{ وَاللّٰهُغَالِبٌعَلٰۤىاَمْرِهٖوَلٰكِنَّاَكْثَرَالنَّاسِلَايَعْلَمُوْنَ }»[ یوسف : ۲۱ ] “And Allah is dominant over His affair, but most people do not know.”
