سُوْرَةُ النَّمْلِ
Surah An-Naml (27) — Ayah 74
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ ﴿74﴾

(Ayah 74) {وَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُوْرُهُمْ … :} That is, the reason for the delay in punishment is not that Allah does not know their deeds; surely your Lord knows what their hearts conceal and what they reveal. The word "Rabb" explains the reason for delay and respite, and in the statement that He knows everything hidden in their hearts and everything they make apparent, there is a severe warning as well, just as when someone is being scolded, it is said, "I am watching your actions." Knowing hidden matters is indeed unique to Allah, and even knowing people's apparent deeds is also unique to the Lord Almighty.
