Surah An-Naml (27) — Ayah 6
وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ ﴿6﴾

And verily, you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are being taught the Qur’ân from One, All-Wise, All-Knowing.

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. (Ayah 6) ➊ The phrase "from {وَ اِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى الْقُرْاٰنَ … : ’’ مِنْ لَّدُنْ ‘‘}" is intended to express the intense connection of the Quran with Allah Almighty, that this Quran is being granted to you by Allah Himself. This is not the speech of any created being whose knowledge is incomplete, or who is unaware of the wisdom behind matters; rather, it has been granted to you by One who possesses perfect wisdom and knowledge of everything, whose every action and every command is filled with wisdom, and who has complete knowledge of the past, present, and future. Therefore, none of His reports are ever incorrect, nor is there any error in His planning.
➋ Both attributes in { حَكِيْمٍ عَلِيْمٍ:} are related to the previous verses as well as to the upcoming stories of the prophets, in that the sending of these prophets, the events that befell them, and the revelation to you in their most authentic form, all express these two attributes of Allah Almighty. Both of these words are used for emphasis. By bringing them in the indefinite form, the emphasis is further increased, meaning: from One who possesses a unique and unparalleled perfection of wisdom and knowledge.
