وَإِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَآئِظُونَ ﴿55﴾
"And verily, they have done what has enraged us.
وَإِنَّهُمْ wa-innahum And indeed, they
لَنَا lanā [to] us
لَغَآئِظُونَ laghāiẓūna (are) surely enraging

(Ayah 55) {وَ اِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَآىِٕظُوْنَ :} They are provoking our anger because they constantly spread disorder and turmoil by demanding freedom from us, and now they have slipped from our hands without our permission. Some commentators have also mentioned among the reasons for provoking anger that they took the jewelry with them, but this is not established.
