Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 211) ➊ { وَمَايَنْۢبَغِيْلَهُمْ :} The first is that bringing down such a pure speech is not suitable for the devils at all, because the Quran is entirely goodness, blessing, and light, while the devils are filled with nothing but evil, corruption, and darkness; both are opposites of each other. ➋ { وَمَايَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ:} The second is that even if it were suitable for them, they do not have the power to bring such speech, no matter how much they try. He (Allah) has stated: «{ قُلْلَّىِٕنِاجْتَمَعَتِالْاِنْسُوَالْجِنُّعَلٰۤىاَنْيَّاْتُوْابِمِثْلِهٰذَاالْقُرْاٰنِلَايَاْتُوْنَبِمِثْلِهٖوَلَوْكَانَبَعْضُهُمْلِبَعْضٍظَهِيْرًا}»[ بني إسرائیل : ۸۸ ] "Say: If all mankind and jinn were to gather together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another."
