Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 75) ➊ { اُولٰٓىِٕكَ يُجْزَوْنَ الْغُرْفَةَ …:’’ غُرْفَةٌ ‘‘} Every lofty building and high palace, upper chamber. By {’’ الْغُرْفَةَ ‘‘} is not meant a single upper chamber, but rather the kind, meaning that the servants of the Most Merciful will be granted the upper chambers of Paradise, that is, high palaces, in return for their patience, whose height will be according to their ranks. Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: : ۳۲۵۶ ] "The people of Paradise will look towards those in the upper chambers above them as you see a bright star shining far away on the horizon in the east or west, due to the superiority of their ranks over one another." And see Surah Az-Zumar (20) and Al-Ankabut (58).

{ بِمَا صَبَرُوْا:} That is, the servants of the Most Merciful will receive this blessing because of their patience, as they were patient in doing good, patient in avoiding evil, and patient in the hardships faced in the path of truth. And Allah the Exalted said: «{ اِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصّٰبِرُوْنَ اَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ [ الزمر : ۱۰ ] "Only those who are patient will be given their reward without measure."

➌ The root of { وَ يُلَقَّوْنَ فِيْهَا تَحِيَّةً وَّ سَلٰمًا : ’’ تَحِيَّةً ‘‘ ’’حَيّٰ يُحَيِّيْ‘‘} is to pray for life. For the greeting and welcome of the people of Paradise by their Lord and the angels, see Surah Ar-Ra'd (23, 24), Al-Anbiya (101 to 103), Az-Zumar (73), and Surah Ya-Sin (55 to 58).
