Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 11){ بَلْ كَذَّبُوْا بِالسَّاعَةِ … :} Its connection with the previous verse is that even if Allah grants you things far better than this, the question is: will these people then believe? The definite answer is that these people still will not believe; rather, they will start making other kinds of statements. The reason is that these people are not at all prepared to accept the Day of Resurrection, being raised again, appearing before Allah, and facing the punishment for their evil deeds. In fact, they have clearly denied it, because accepting it would require them to give up their worldly desires. So, if these people do not make such stubborn arguments, what else can they do? See Surah Qiyamah, verses (1 to 6).
