So As-Saihah (torment - awful cry) overtook them in truth (with justice), and We made them as rubbish of dead plants. So away with the people who are Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh, disobedient to His Messengers).
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ fa-akhadhathumu So seized them
ٱلصَّيْحَةُ l-ṣayḥatu the awful cry
بِٱلْحَقِّ bil-ḥaqi in truth
فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ fajaʿalnāhum and We made them
غُثَآءًۭ ۚ ghuthāan (as) rubbish of dead leaves
فَبُعْدًۭا fabuʿ'dan So away
لِّلْقَوْمِ lil'qawmi with the people
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ l-ẓālimīna the wrongdoers

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 41){ فَاَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ بِالْحَقِّ :} That is, the punishment that was given to them was exactly according to justice and fairness; no injustice was done to them. Some have translated {’’ فَاَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ بِالْحَقِّ ‘‘} as: "Finally, according to the true promise, a single blast seized them." That is, the promise which is found within {’’ عَمَّا قَلِيْلٍ لَّيُصْبِحُنَّ نٰدِمِيْنَ ‘‘}. {’’اَلْحَقُّ‘‘} can also mean a decisive matter, which no one could prevent. (Ruh)
