Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 15){ ثُمَّاِنَّكُمْبَعْدَذٰلِكَلَمَيِّتُوْنَ :} Although every moment from dust and sperm-drop to death itself is a witness to life after death, because every cell of the body that exists perishes and is replaced by a new cell, and this process continues constantly, during which a person also transitions from childhood to youth and then to old age, yet very few reflect on this cycle of death and life. Therefore, Allah has described that stage of death which every person sees with their own eyes. Thus, with {’’ ثُمَّ ‘‘}, He pointed to the respite given to a person after birth for action, and with the emphasis of {’’إِنَّ‘‘ } and {’’لَام‘‘}, He said that then, after passing through all or some stages of life, in any case, you must die.
