Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 111){ اِنِّيْجَزَيْتُهُمُالْيَوْمَ …:} In this world, a testing phase for the people of faith is that when they act upon the religion, those ignorant of the religion and unaware of faith make them targets of mockery and blame. There are many with weak faith who, out of fear of these reproaches, avoid acting upon many divine commands, such as distancing themselves from polytheistic customs and rejecting them, keeping a beard, the issue of hijab, abstaining from Hindu-like customs in marriage, death, etc. Fortunate are those who do not care about any reproach and never deviate from obedience to Allah and His Messenger on any occasion. Allah Almighty will grant them the best reward for this on the Day of Judgment and will honor only them with success. O Allah! Include us also among these fortunate ones.
