It is He, Who gave you life, and then will cause you to die, and will again give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). Verily man is indeed an ingrate.

(Ayah 66) ➊ {وَهُوَالَّذِيْۤاَحْيَاكُمْ …:} This is the sixth blessing and is the origin of all the previously mentioned blessings: that Allah created you. If He had not created you in the first place, what use would all the other blessings be to you? Even every atheist admits that we did not exist before, and were created later. {’’ ثُمَّيُمِيْتُكُمْ ‘‘} Then He will cause you to die; this is also a reality that everyone accepts. {’’ ثُمَّيُحْيِيْكُمْ ‘‘} Whoever accepts the first two matters must also accept that Allah will bring the dead to life after death.
➋ Apparently, out of these three, only the first—creating for the first time—is a blessing, because causing death and resurrecting are for accountability. But if you reflect, these too are blessings, because without them, Paradise and the vision of Allah can never be attained. And what doubt can there be in the blessing of something that is the means to eternal life in Paradise and the vision of the Master?
➌ { اِنَّالْاِنْسَانَلَكَفُوْرٌ : ’’ لَكَفُوْرٌ ‘‘ ’’كَافِرٌ‘‘} is an emphatic form of "kāfir,", and disbelief here means ingratitude for blessings, i.e., denying or being ungrateful for them. That is, the son of Adam does not value the blessings mentioned in the above verses, nor does he give thanks for them, i.e., he does not accept the invitation presented to him by His Messengers. Elsewhere it is said: «{ وَاِنْتَعُدُّوْانِعْمَتَاللّٰهِلَاتُحْصُوْهَااِنَّالْاِنْسَانَلَظَلُوْمٌكَفَّارٌ }»[ إبراہیم : ۳۴ ] “And if you count the blessings of Allah, you will not be able to enumerate them. Indeed, man is surely very unjust, very ungrateful.”
