Surah Al-Hajj (22) — Ayah 59

لَيُدْخِلَنَّهُم مُّدْخَلًا يَرْضَوْنَهُۥ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلِيمٌ حَلِيمٌ ﴿59﴾
Truly, He will make them enter an entrance with which they shall be well-pleased, and verily, Allâh indeed is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.
لَيُدْخِلَنَّهُم layud'khilannahum Surely, He will admit them
مُّدْخَلًۭا mud'khalan (to) an entrance
يَرْضَوْنَهُۥ ۗ yarḍawnahu they will be pleased (with) it
وَإِنَّ wa-inna And indeed
ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
لَعَلِيمٌ laʿalīmun surely, (is) All-Knowing
حَلِيمٌۭ ḥalīmun Most Forbearing

(Ayah 59) ➊ { لَيُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ مُّدْخَلًا يَّرْضَوْنَهٗ :} refers to Paradise, which they will see and be pleased with, and in which they will find every desire of theirs present. A pleasant residence is also included in the good provision, but it is mentioned separately because people make arrangements for beautiful and excellent homes even more than for food and drink.

➋ The attribute {وَ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَعَلِيْمٌ حَلِيْمٌ :} of {’’عَلِيْمٌ‘‘} is relevant to this context in two ways: first, that Allah Almighty is well aware of the deeds and intentions of those who migrated, and He will reward each according to them; likewise, He is fully aware of the deeds and intentions of the disbelievers who forced them to migrate, and He will punish them accordingly. Similarly, the relevance of {’’حَلِيْمٌ ‘‘} is also twofold: first, that whatever shortcomings occurred from these emigrants, Allah Almighty, due to His immense forbearance, will overlook them and grant them good provision and a pleasant abode; second, that those disbelievers who expelled them, Allah Almighty, due to His perfect forbearance, gave them respite despite such a great crime and did not seize them immediately, as a result of which almost all those who expelled the emigrants from Makkah became Muslims.
