Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 86){ وَاَدْخَلْنٰهُمْفِيْرَحْمَتِنَااِنَّهُمْمِّنَالصّٰلِحِيْنَ : ’’صَلَحَيَصْلَحُصَلَاحًا‘‘} (F, N, K) To be correct. This is the opposite of corruption. (Qamoos) Allah Almighty praised these prophets that they were completely righteous; their hearts were correct due to faith in Allah Almighty, His love, and constant remembrance of Him. Their tongues were correct due to His remembrance, inviting to His religion, and always speaking the truth, and all their other limbs were correct due to obedience to His commands and abstaining from prohibited things, because without the correctness of these three, no person can be called righteous. Allah Almighty said that due to patience and righteousness, We admitted them into Our mercy and granted them prophethood. We bestowed upon them the blessings of this world and the Hereafter; is it any less that Allah Almighty praised them in His Book and granted them true fame until the Day of Judgment. (Sa'di)
