Surah Al-Anbiyaa (21) — Ayah 77

وَنَصَرْنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَأَغْرَقْنَـٰهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ ﴿77﴾
We helped him against the people who denied Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). Verily, they were a people given to evil. So We drowned them all.
وَنَصَرْنَـٰهُ wanaṣarnāhu And We helped him
مِنَ mina from
ٱلْقَوْمِ l-qawmi the people
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna who
كَذَّبُوا۟ kadhabū denied
بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ ۚ biāyātinā Our Signs
إِنَّهُمْ innahum Indeed, they
كَانُوا۟ kānū were
قَوْمَ qawma a people
سَوْءٍۢ sawin evil
فَأَغْرَقْنَـٰهُمْ fa-aghraqnāhum so We drowned them
أَجْمَعِينَ ajmaʿīna all
