Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 50) ➊ {وَ هٰذَا ذِكْرٌ مُّبٰرَكٌ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ : ’’ هٰذَا ‘‘} refers to the Noble Qur’an; since it is present in the minds of the listeners, it is indicated with {’’ هٰذَا ‘‘}. {’’ ذِكْرٌ ‘‘} means this is an admonition and also a reminder. {’’ مُبٰرَكٌ ‘‘} in which there is much blessing, that is, countless goodness, and We (Allah Almighty has used the plural pronoun to express His majesty) have revealed it.

{ اَفَاَنْتُمْ لَهٗ مُنْكِرُوْنَ :} We gave Musa and Harun (peace be upon them) the Torah and miracles; you people accept them, so this blessed reminder, that is, the Qur’an, We have also revealed—then what is the reason that you do not accept it?
