سُوْرَةُ طٰهٰ
Surah Taa-Haa (20) — Ayah 72
قَالُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْثِرَكَ عَلَىٰ مَا جَآءَنَا مِنَ ٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ وَٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنَا ۖ فَٱقْضِ مَآ أَنتَ قَاضٍ ۖ إِنَّمَا تَقْضِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَآ ﴿72﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
They said: "We prefer you not over what have come to us of the clear signs and to Him (Allâh) Who created us. So decree whatever you desire to decree, for you can only decree (regarding) this life of the world.

(Ayah 73,72){قَالُوْا لَنْ نُّؤْثِرَكَ عَلٰى مَا جَآءَنَا … :} But the faith of the magicians became so firm in a single moment that neither did any value for wealth, worldly status, or position remain in their hearts, for which they had entered this contest, nor did Pharaoh’s threats have any effect on them now. Thus, they said, “What more can you do than end our brief worldly life? So we do not care about that.” But today, a person, even after reciting the Qur’an for sixty years, sells his faith in exchange for the petty world.
