Surah Taa-Haa (20) — Ayah 125

قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَرْتَنِىٓ أَعْمَىٰ وَقَدْ كُنتُ بَصِيرًا ﴿125﴾
He will say: "O my Lord! Why have you raised me up blind, while I had sight (before)."
قَالَ qāla He will say
رَبِّ rabbi My Lord
لِمَ lima Why
حَشَرْتَنِىٓ ḥashartanī You raised me
أَعْمَىٰ aʿmā blind
وَقَدْ waqad while [verily]
كُنتُ kuntu I had
بَصِيرًۭا baṣīran sight
